Hello. Welcome to my website! I teach singing lessons in Portland, OR. My methods may be applied to classical and non-classical singing. They may also be applied to public speaking.
My goal at each voice lesson is for you to learn how to sing with your authentic voice, which is a beautiful free voice.
I teach a breath-based technique and believe in educating my students about the physics and mechanics of what creates a free sound.
I also believe in communicating in ways that empower and encourage freedom. I am sensitive to how the body-mind learns and the language of our unconscious mind. I use this knowledge to help my students attain the results they want in as little time as possible.
As the name of my business suggests, I use a body-centered approach. This is especially true in my group classes, which you can read more about here.
I absolutely love teaching people how to sing better and look forward to connecting with you!
"Anything you hear in a person's voice that isn't beautiful, isn't actually their voice. It's a fear." - Linda Brice

I teach holistic body-based singing lessons that address the singing and speaking voice. It took me many years to find a system for teaching voice savvy to the physics and physiology responsible for creating a free sound while also weaving these principles into the spiritual and emotional aspects of singing - i.e. overcoming fear and shame. The Transformational Voice method does this.
I work with singers and speakers who wish to heal, free and transform their voices. I also offer group classes and workshops that combine movement meditation and the basic concepts of singing.
My approach draws primarily from the lineage of Linda Brice, founder of Transformational Voice, and also from Alexander technique, creative movement and alignment yoga as it relates to breath.
